Taxonomy:

  • Described: 05 new species of moths and 05 new species of lesser known beetles.
  • Based on the Integrated Taxonomic Approach (ITA) one cryptic moth species,Olepa schleini Witt et al. 2005 a palearctic species reported as new record to Indian Fauna of moths.
  • Described the above-mentioned new species of beetles of the family Trogidae which is lesser known and is important in forensic sciences.

Patent: 01 Indian Patent

  • One Indian patent on WOOD PRESERVATIVES AND A METHOD FOR PROTECTING WOOD AND WOOD BASED PANEL PRODUCTS” bearing Patent No. 297510.

IUCN Redlist Assessment:

  • Contributed to IUCN Redlist Assessment of Tiger beetles.
  • Elected as a fellow of Royal Entomological Society, UK. The oldest and the reputed society in entomological sciences(Membership number - RES20851).
