How to Procure

Please read the following instructions carefully before placing the order to effect prompt service :

1. Prices in Rupees are applicable for sale in India only.

2. For customers from abroad, Doller or Pound Sterling prices are applicable.

3. Payment will be accepted only through a Demand Draft multicity cheque payable at Kolkata.

4. The Demand Draft/cheque should be drawn only in favour of PAO (BSI/ZSI), Department of Environment, Kolkata and send it the the Publication Division , Zoological Survey of India, M Block, New Alipore-700053.

5. For Traders and Book-sellers, 25% discount will be allowed. On publications published upto 2005, a discount of 30% will be allowed. 6. For Libraries, Universities, Colleges, Students and Institutions, 10% discount will be allowed. On publications published upto 2005, a discount of 20% will be allowed. The books shown as Out of Print will not be supplied.

6. No publication is sent by V.P.P. The payment is received through demand draft/multicity cheque only.

7. Being a Government Institution, Zoological Survey of India is exempted from issuing stamped receipt under Stamp Act.

8. For departmental scientists and officials, a discount of 30% will be allowed.
