1. High Performance Scientist Award of ZSI – Year 2011 2. High Performance Scientist Award of ZSI – Year 2012 3. Establishment of Long-term Permanent Monitoring Plots in the coral reefs of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to study the impact of climate change. 4. Description of new faunal species:13 species 5. New faunal species record to India: 715 species (scleractinian corals, alcyonacean corals, sea anemones, hydrozoans, bryozoans, sponges, molluscs, nudibranchs, polyclads, brachiopods, ascidians, fishes and bird). 6.
