Significant Achievements

• Discovered one new genus, forty-one new species of Lepidoptera from India.
• Ten books, twenty-two book chapters and five important Catalogues on Superfamily Pterophoroidea, on families Tortricidae, Lecithoceridae, Psychidae and Zygaenidae of Microlepidoptera were published.
• More than seven thousand specimens of Lepidoptera families have been collected from India.
• Five Major Research projects on the biodiversity of Insects funded by ICAR, UGC & DST, New Delhi & six departmental projects (ZSI/MOEFCC) were completed successfully.
• Young Scientist Awards (02)- (UPZS &DST) and Fellow of the Him Science Congress Association (HSCA)
